The K Klan.

One I am so glad Kim put her hair up. she has such a beautiful face. The dress by designer Ina Soltini rocked! Her sister Kourtney wore a strapless aubergine BCBG that looked so delicate with her baby bump.Speaking of bumps, is in it amazing how beautiful Heidi Klum looks pregnant. Maybe that's why she is pregnant again. She may be competing with Angelina for best bumps of the decade. LOL!

What kind of a Statement!

I am still in Shock! Why would someone so beautiful want to wear this to a The Emmys. This is a event to shine as an actor. I think her agent and publicist didn't know what was she up to. Don't get me wrong. I am a big Obama supporter but his face on my dress is a no no. And besides he is already our President. The elections are over! What more of a "statement" could she have made. BTW this is what she answered when all entertaiment journalist were asking who made her dress. Thankfully she never said, this kind of a statement can break a designer's career. She definitly went to her local tailor. I don't think any saavy designer would take such a risk.

Emmy's Best Dress

I just finished watching the Red Carpet for the Emmy's and saw Olivia Wilde with this beautiful Marchesa Dress. She looked amazing and the back for this dress was to die for!!!

Join us at Oak and Park Boutique for a preview of our New Resort Collection for 2010.
We called the collection called Sparkling Lotus inspired by my logo and my passion for amulets and religious beliefs of different cultures. In Buddhism, the lotus flower represents purity of body, speech, and mind, floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire. It is also said to symbolize long life, health, honor, good fortune peace and/or enlightenment as in many Asian religions. Is the perfect amulet very complete.

The King of Pop Has Left the Building

Michael Jackson has passed on. But his legacy will live for ever. I was stunned when I heard the news. I've been working so hard I thought it was a rumor I got caught up in Twitter, somebody sent me a picture posted in ET and I posted it on my facebook page. Yeah! the now infamous anbulance pic, I do apologize it was spur of the moment thing. Done in a moment of disbelief. But enough about that I moved on, so has the world. What I wanted to tell all of you that MJ will live for ever in this virtual world thanks to you tube ect... My kids new him and about him, because of this technology. My sons are 6 and 9, and the nostalgia I've been feeling I lived through them trying to learn the moonwalk the cool dancing steps, and amazing dance twirls. He will always be in our heart. May you rest in peace now. MJ we love u.

What a month!

I am so sorry I haven't been able to post, I 've been very busy with the sales of our Discoteca Collection as well as the marketing and production of the line. Fortunetly my hard work has paid of. First we attended the Miami Fashion Week and met some great people. Later out of nowhere Designer Miriam Cernase of Olivia Lucas, Ask us to provide her with jewelry for her show at Funkshion also one of the hottest fashion venues in South Florida we met Super Model Ivana, and Fernanda they were fantastic. And then fashion stylist and designer Maria Lepe invited us to shoot for Mujer magazine in a luxurious boat.After this I got super sick with bronchitis and my asma attacks came back after 10 years. If that wasn't enough I got bitten by the Twilight Bug and with almost no time in my hands I manage to fall in love with Bella and Eduard Cullen's romance and read all four books in two weeks. We also got featured in a couple of TV show and finally it hit! Luxaholics a celebrity lifestyle seccion for the Extra TV Celebrity News Show featured one of our pieces as an American Idol giveaway. So my life hit the roof, as well as my twitter page. I got hit with the mickey worm so as soon as twitter fixes the problem we will let you know when it's back in business. Ok I've got to go and get myself ready for a affernoon with my kids but here are some awsome pics o our journey. Enjoy!

What I Want for Spring!

By now you should know I am obsessed with shoes. PRADA shoes are one of my favorites. Like Carrie from (Sex and the City) would stop eating for a Vogue. I am going stop eating for a week maybe two for these shoes. These satin shoes are TO DIE!!! When I saw them my jaw droped, Ms Muccia had done it again. Personally I didn't love the Fall Collection but she always give a girl somethin' somethin' for Spring. So I am on a diet and in the look out for these shoes. I didn't see them on the runway or in their new look book but they are made from the same crinkled chartreuse fabric dresses she made for the end of her spring show! I am PRADIFIED!!!! A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to show at the hottest Club in Miami with Fashion Designer Maria Lepe, her designs are coloful, sexy and very artful. The fabrics that she uses are amazing, but most of all is the radiant personality and the drive that this young Mexican-American designer has to offer the world of fashion. With all that in mind you should take a look at her wonderful line of bathing suits and dresses they are to die for. Perfect for a day on the yatch or at the beautiful beaches of St Barth's a must have for that woman who want to be noticed and definitely want some thing beautiful and original. I would also like to thank her for the opportunity and believing in my designs.

Alex McQ for Target

You've got to belive it! Been hearing about it. But I wasn't sure.
New York's most fashionable will be running all over the city to cover the shows, so it's no surprise that Alexander McQueen is joining the fray with a weekend pop-up for his latest Target collaboration. Preview Feb 14 to 15. McQ will be available in stores in early March. Available only for this weekend at Market, St. John's Center, 330 West Street (at West Houston Street)no phone.

Trunk Show at the Art Gallery Condo

The evening was fantastic! Well-known Lifestyle designer Carlitos Matta hosted this magnificent soiree. The event started with splash people rushing to see what I had designed for the evening. The collection's name is "Discoteca". Meaning Discotheque in English, this line was inspired by the glitz and glamour that clubs used to have in my early 20's a lot of the inspiration came from the people and the ambiance. I 've got to have it!

Wow!!! I saw these shoes and I drooled. Really! They're designed by Manolo Blahnik shoe designer known to make women put botox on the sole of their feet so they can stand on them for hours. People started to hear about the brand when Sarah Jessica Parker started wearing them on the Sex in the City show. But he been in the business for over 30 years. Hope you love them too.

At Fashion Industry Insiders Casting

This is an organization based in South Florida that help designers get exposure in the fashion community. They also help you connect with models, hair, make up artists, agents, stylist, photographers and medias sources . Here I am posting some pics of their last event. This event took part at Le Marche Bistro at the Hilton Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. We had a Blast! The casting started around 7:00 pm and ended at 10:00pm. While Robynn Lin Fredericks the orginizer and president of the Fashion Council of South Florida was checking out everybodies work. We had time to network with designer hopefuls, for the upcoming Resort Show. I will keep you posted with the latest news about this group. What a year!

I just woke up this morning, to see that my life has change in so many ways. Not so long ago. I was living in Puerto Rico selling my line to locals stores and just feeling satisfied with my life. Today I noticed that I come a long way. We move from the Island to a wonderful area, and the opportunities came knocking. I went to school perfected my tecniques and here I am Blogging. Wow who would of thought! I finished my collection and been everywhere. Here it is finally so enjoy!
