Around The World With Tracy Yapp

Fevi Reyes Sparkling Lotus Ring in Oregon
Another delightful vacation for my dear friend Tracy. Although she travels around the globe working her bad ass photography she always take time to relax. But she never forgetting her camera. Here she sent me some pics of her own Fevi Reyes Sparkling Lotus Ring in Oregon. I love how nice the texture and the color of the surroundings make the piece look even more amazing. I also love that she send me pictures.
Fevi Facts:
Lotus flowers are amazing and have strong symbolic ties to many Asian religions especially throughout India. The lotus flower starts as a small flower down at the bottom of a pond in the mud and muck. It slowly grows up towards the waters surface continually moving towards the light. Once it come to the surface of the water the lotus flower begins to blossom and turn into a beautiful flower.

Within Hinduism and Buddhism the lotus flower has become a symbol for awakening to the spiritual reality of life. The meaning varies slightly between the two religions of course but essentially both religious traditions place importance on the lotus flower.

Eat Pray Love For The Fab Girls

Malas are prayer or rosary beads used for reciting repetitions of prayers or chants called "mantras," and help to facilitate ritualized meditation practice. They have been used for thousands of years in Tibetan, Indian, Chinese, Japanese Buddhism and Hinduism. Prayer beads in different forms are used in Christianity and Islam as well.

My interpretation of the Mala has 23 beads  and a edgy flair that depending on the malas bracelet that you choose has these beautiful zirconia pave bead either in dark finish, gold or silver. You decide! I love to stack them with each designs and other malas that I've created.

Fangtabulous!

We are all the rage! Visit our online store.Inspired by themythological or folkloric beings who subsist by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of living creatures, regardless of whether they are undead or a living person. Although vampiric entities have been recorded in many cultures and in spite of speculation by literary historian Brian Frost that the "belief in vampires and bloodsucking demons is as old as man himself", and may go back to "prehistoric times", the term vampire was not popularized until the early 18th century, after an influx of vampire superstition into Western Europe from areas where vampire legends were frequent, such as the Balkans and Eastern Europe, although local variants were also known by different names, such as vrykolakas in Greece and strigoi in Romania. This increased level of vampire superstition in Europe led to mass hysteria and in some cases resulted in corpses actually being staked and people being accused of vampirism. Creepy!!!
