I wanted to share with all you my trip to the Big City of NYC. I went to seal some deals and meet with some buyers for my line. I got to spend my week with these two fabulous men. They made laugh so hard, I even lost my voice. I wasn't prepared for the cold weather but I made it through. We walked we ate he bought materials for our next collections and ate at some wonderful places. I want to thank Casanova for inviting to stay at his home, I was treated like a princess. I also want to than Victor for watching over me and organizing my life and loving me so much. Business is going to be great with you on my team. I love you both and see you soon. 

My Stain Removal Tip!

I've already noticed that I am the go to girl between my girlfriends.  They have a problem or fashion emergency they, call me!  "Fevi where can I find these boots, dress or bags? " "Fevi I need to clean my jewels how do I do it?" " Fevi  I got a grease stain on my favorite dress can I remove it or should I send it to the cleaners?"  Well that's why I started documenting these tips. So that when they need them and now you. Can look it up in my blog.

 This time Tracy called with a grease stain and here is what I recommended.Oh! and  three months later Camille called me for the same thing. So girls here it is. I clean all protein stains from my garments with DAWN no other DAWN so for grease stains first you sprinkle some baby powder,  let the powder suck up the grease.  Later you put Dawn dish washing soap on the stain and let it do it's magic at least for one hour.

Soak the garment in cold water for another 30 min and check the stain.   Hang dry. Don't put the garment on the dryer because if the stain is still their you can repeat  the process. If you use the dryer the stain will set with the heat and then that a whole other project. Here is Tracy's dress.

Add baby powder to stain and let it soak up grease.

Add Dawn liquid soap to stain.

Hope this helps.I use this method for wine stains, dirt blood, baby poop (lol) this last one was the worst  kind. But all my baby's linen and garments and the ones I wanted to save for my second child were like, never used.

 For other stains like pen ink I use hair spray let it dry and add the my miracle find Dawn and follow the same process. I would love to hear your comments, also if you have any tips or trick let us know. Well, keep me posted!

DIY Cleaning Your Jewelry Pieces

I've worked for so many years in the industry, and everyday people ask me if the jewelry will tarnish?

Well,  to educate all of us out there if silver doesn't tarnish it's not silver. Gold also tarnishes it's a chemical reaction that occurs when expose the metal to oxygen and the humidity were you store your jewel.

I always advise to my clients to store their investment in a plastic bag that I provide for them,  but you can store them in your everyday zip lock bag. With each jewelry purchase from us you also get a silk bag for storage apart from being a cute addition it can also prevents any damage to you lovely jewelry.

So that said.   I am going to let you on a trick to clean your jewels. As we wear them our body oils help them tarnish also, so it's good that once a month you take all of your silver and gold (not costume of gold plate I will give you another tip on those on another post). and clean them.

 You will need a aluminium tray a baking soda and hot boiling water. First dip your jewels in the hot water dry them and later put them on the tray.  Sprinkle baking soda over them, and when your boiling water is ready just pour it onto the tray. You will notice a rotten smell that is sulfur, it's a good sign. This means that its working.  Then rinse the jewelry with some warm water and regular dish washing soap.

Put them on a towel to dry, And Voila!
