Fevi Reyes Designs @ District Factory

We are delighted to be one if the exhibitors at this new and fashionable venue. We haven't done this kind of event for some time. After we opened our showroom it has been a bit hectic, with the wholesale part of our business. We also decided to be more exclusive when it came to retailing at shows. But this is a amazing and well organized event and we thought it was a great fit for our clientele who is very demanding and have a deep love for the arts. The activity opens at 7pm at the very hip Wynwood neighborhood in Midtown Miami is the place where emerging artists and well known designers meet and support the art and fashion. So we invite you get out and about with us at the District Factory this Saturday night. Local Dj's spinning to the latest tunes and adult refreshments will be served. As well as our fabulous jewels and accessories. For more info visit www.districtfactory.com

Pieces to Die for!

Vampires are mythological or folkloric beings who subsist by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of living creatures, regardless of whether they are undead or a living person. Although vampiric entities have been recorded in many cultures and in spite of speculation by literary historian Brian Frost that the "belief in vampires and bloodsucking demons is as old as man himself", and may go back to "prehistoric times" the term vampire was not popularized until the early 18th century, after an influx of vampire superstition into Western Europe from areas where vampire legends were frequent, such as the Balkans and Eastern Europe, although local variants were also known by different names, such as vrykolakas in Greece and strigoi in Romania. That said I was very fond of vampires I was first introduced to Author Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles series (1976-2003). Later enjoyed Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire Mysteries in 2001, now turned into the popular TV Series True Blood and Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter 1993. So that said, The Fangtabulous Collection was born. Here are our best sellers.

Eat Pray Love For The Fab Girls

Malas are prayer or rosary beads used for reciting repetitions of prayers or chants called "mantras," and help to facilitate ritualized meditation practice. They have been used for thousands of years in Tibetan, Indian, Chinese, Japanese Buddhism and Hinduism. Prayer beads in different forms are used in Christianity and Islam as well.

My interpretation of the Mala has 23 beads  and a edgy flair that depending on the malas bracelet that you choose has these beautiful zirconia pave bead either in dark finish, gold or silver. You decide! I love to stack them with each designs and other malas that I've created.

What a month!

I am so sorry I haven't been able to post, I 've been very busy with the sales of our Discoteca Collection as well as the marketing and production of the line. Fortunetly my hard work has paid of. First we attended the Miami Fashion Week and met some great people. Later out of nowhere Designer Miriam Cernase of Olivia Lucas, Ask us to provide her with jewelry for her show at Funkshion also one of the hottest fashion venues in South Florida we met Super Model Ivana, and Fernanda they were fantastic. And then fashion stylist and designer Maria Lepe invited us to shoot for Mujer magazine in a luxurious boat. After this I got super sick with bronchitis and my asma attacks came back after 10 years. If that wasn't enough I got bitten by the Twilight Bug and with almost no time in my hands I manage to fall in love with Bella and Eduard Cullen's romance and read all four books in two weeks. We also got featured in a couple of TV show and finally it hit! Luxaholics a celebrity lifestyle seccion for the Extra TV Celebrity News Show featured one of our pieces as an American Idol giveaway. So my life hit the roof, as well as my twitter page. I got hit with the mickey worm so as soon as twitter fixes the problem we will let you know when it's back in business. Ok I've got to go and get myself ready for a affernoon with my kids but here are some awsome pics o our journey. Enjoy!

the Imperial Bling Collection

This collection was inspired by the Ming Dynasty of China 1368ac, that popularized the use of cloisonne in their royal jewelry. * Cloisonné beads are created by skilled artisans. Each cloisonné bead can take up to four hours to produce. Dozens of tiny cells are soldered to the bead's surface, then filled with four layers of enamel, and fired after each filling. Then each bead is polished, revealing intricate and beautiful designs. Since each bead is handmade, colors and styles may vary.
